Ultimate bragging rights: Your workshop in a national magazine!

Do you have the kind of shop other woodworkers like to visit? Does your shop include clever ideas that help you work smarter, faster, or safer? Have you designed and built special tool racks, machine bases, cabinets, jigs, or other shop helpers you think your fellow woodworkers would find interesting? If so, the editors at WOOD magazine invite you to submit your workshop or individual shop projects for review for possible publication in future editions of America's Best Home Workshops. Edition 2, shown at left recently hit the newsstands, and we're looking for shops and shop projects for edition 3 now.

Your shop doesn't have to be big, or nit-picky clean. The ideas could be storage solutions, task-specific jigs, shop tips, or the special way you designed, built, and outfitted your shop.
If you'd like to submit your shop for our review, here's what we need:
- 5-6 photos showing the interior of your shop (preferably one of each wall of your shop), an overall image of your shop, and an exterior photo, if applicable.
- Photos of any shop helpers you've designed such as workbenches, tool cabinets, lumber racks, clamp racks, machine bases, or anything else you've customized for your shop. Even if we don't select your shop for publication, we're also looking for these types of projects for the Gallery section of this magazine and for use in WOOD magazine.
If your shop is selected, we'll need a rough-sketch floor plan that shows overall shop dimensions and the locations of doors and windows, tools, storage cabinets, workbenches, and wood storage.
